multiple searches in form view

i have a simple form view set up to retrieve a specific ip address or username from the system. the results are then shown in a source list of the first 200. my question is i would like to add a second simple search field to the same view so i can search using both at once on the same page, using one for ip address's and one for the ip activity. how would i go about doing that?

You can do this, but not using the Simple XML. In the Advanced XML, it's pretty straightforward, you just put the forms in one after the other.

Can you give an example? I have three logs that have a common field for a help desk. I want to present data from all three logs when the user enters the ticket number on a form. I want the data to show in three different tables.
