Error with testcases_for_results_value_setter.xml when installing sideview utils 2.2.9

Hi

When I start splunk after installing sideview utils I get the following error:

Checking configuration... Error while parsing '/opt/splunk/etc/apps/sideview_utils/default/data/ui/views/testcases_for_results_value_setter.xml':
mismatched tag: line 175, column 4

Other users must be getting this error as well right?

Removing/renaming the xml helps
So does deleting one of the lines at the end of the xml

Sorry about that. It's completely harmless but it'll be fixed in the next release. Follow @sideview_apps on twitter and when Sideview Utils releases in a week or two, upgrade the app and the error will go away.

And thanks for the heads up. This one was already reported but you never know, and I appreciate it.

Note that the problem has been resolved in Sideview Utils 2.3 released today and available from the Sideview site http://sideviewapps.com/apps/sideview-utils, free for internal use.

I'm afraid I neglected to put the fix into 2.2.10. It'll be in the next one though. Until then you can delete the xml file or delete one of the tags on the end to make the error go away.

Just installed version 2.2.10 and this isn't fixed. Was this supposed to be fixed in 2.2.10?
