Hi Giuseppe f I understand correctly, the option is to install addon and app in the heavy forwarder and then forward from the heavy forwarder the data back to splunk cloud, is that right? Or with your app is it possible to receive in a heavy forwarder with the addon and then just forward the data to splunk cloud? Could you share your customized app? Thanks in advance !

It seems that the addon only keeps the last scan executed. The question therefore is ... Is it possible to export the reports from Nessus Professional 7.1.0 (# 115) LINUX to Splunk and be able to make a diff between two reports?

Thanks for answering.
In my case I want to locate a marker within the map (which I have previously located with coordinates), the problem is that they are markers with very unintuitive names that do not provide contextual information so if you do not know exactly where is it, you end up in a trial and error process, or end up looking elsewhere (in my case a kmz uploaded on google earth).
What I'm looking for is not having to leave splunk to access the data I load in the marker

Is it possible to include a search engine in the visualization that allows positioning in an element of the map?
An autozoom similar to that done by google maps when searching for a city, but inside the dashboard.

Thats correct
You simply need to configure your splunk instance to find the license server.
settings >> Licensing >> Associate to license server
And you should obtain a message like this:
This server is Associated with a remote master license to local master ServerSwitch

Indeed, when you configure the server as a slave, you will inherit the license server configuration (you must configure it) and return to index properly.

You need to setup your server as slave with your license server or review you don't have an invalid license.
After a proper license install, it seems to work fine now.

Hi, I have exact the same problem (rhel not windows system)
I just follow instructions from http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Data/SendSNMPeventstoSplunk
but I can not receive anything in /var/log/snmp-traps. If I start tcpdump -i eth0 'port 162' I can see snmp events arriving my server, but looks like snmptrapd can not write them into file.
Anyone could give me a hint to advance? no iptables or any other firewall is running.

Just to say, after i upgrade mobileiron's last release, everything works correctly. Now I can obtain data from mydevices and rest of indexes.
All of them are populating itself and rest of app looks run great.

Hi
I am trying to use examples given with Single Value Decorations, but i am not able to get it working correctly. Every example is given with searchString:

Hi everyone
I am deploying mi-splunk-app-6.0.0.tar.gz (MI-Splunk version 6.0.0) against my VSP 6.0.0 build 311.
I set up the listener in splunk (port 9991) and the splunk forwarder in VSP, and forwarder is connected, but only receive health information from the machine, nothing about associated devices.
The VPS dashboard reporting and overview are empty.
Do I need to configure something else?
