Why is it showing "splunk command not found"?

Seems like the installation was not correct. Either it's missing files or files have permission issues.

If it is a new installation, I would remove everything and reinstall it. (https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Forwarder/8.2.5/Forwarder/Installanixuniversalforwarder)

Thank you, i will try to re-install and get back to you with feedback, hopefully it will work. The server I am trying to install a universal forwarder is hosted on vmware and has CentOS 7.

I'm trying to install splunk universal forwarder in the correct  but i'm getting command not found error. Please help.

Hi @SANMEHTP 

you can please run command from bin directory insde splunkforwarder directory 

cd splunkforarder/bin/
