Hello,
I see that we have a lot of charting options within Splunk, but I am looking for one in particular - step graphs. Here is a picture of one: http://fatweasel.com/tutorials/python-tutorials/matplotlib/step-graphs-in-malplotlib/
Thank you!
Jim
As far as I understand, this is essentially a different visual representation of eg a line chart. I know it's silly but I haven't got a way to route this into an enhancement request in your name without forging email headers, which feels like I'm misrepresenting our customers in a very thorny way.
Please file a support case here http://www.splunk.com/support We route enhancement request via support for a variety of reasons. Your situation may not actually need support but the experience should be painless for you.
Select Priority -> Enhancement requests I'm not sure if you have to fill out the rest, I'm guessing not.
Paste in the text from answers. Important: give a little color about how this feature is useful. You probably have some practical stuff you're trying to solve right now that could use it. Maybe you can see some other situations where it would be useful. All that stuff is really important to teach us why we should really do this feature over the many others we'd also like to do. 🙂
