How to create a dashboard for tracking changes to saved searches?

Hi there,

Which internal Splunk logs would I look at to chart changes to a saved search? i.e. when someone goes in, modifies a saved search and clicks save.

Thanks!

hello there,

saw some answers about this topic in this portal. here is one:
https://answers.splunk.com/answers/317274/how-can-i-determine-who-modified-a-dashboard.html
try and create a search, and save it. look in internal index for the data about the report / saved search you created.
now modify it in some way, and go back to the internal index and check the events that you just generated.
its getting late here so ill try myself tomorrow and share.

hope it helps
