How to upgrade DB Connect 1 to DB Connect 3.4.0?

Is there a document in Splunk show how to upgrade Splunk DB Connect 1 to DB Connect 3?  Thanks.

Hi
If you must (try to) upgrade your config then you must go through couple of versions before you can end to 3.4.0. Unfortunately I'm supposing that you couldn't found those needed versions between 1 to 3. For that reason I said that you must (and probably it's also easier) just install 3.4.0 and start creating your new configurations from scratch based on version 1 configurations.

Hi @isoutamo , thank you for your opinions.  Splunk had a webpage provided a python script for migrating DBX to DB Connect2, but I couldn't find it any more.  For DBX1, how can I find the last checkpoint value from each DB input?  Thanks.

This is reason why I said that probably you must create configs from scratch 😞 Of course you could ask from Splunk Support if they can deliver those needed versions and upgrade instructions to you?

But if you haven't so many inputs then it's probably faster and easier just create those from scratch.
