Vimeo Channels

Description

This application indexes the most recent channel listings on Vimeo. Vimeo is
a web site for users to share their videos. The contents come from
Vimeo. To add your own channel, find the channel name first from Vimeo. Then
edit bin/channels.txt and add your channel name. The default interval to query
for new videos is set to 3 days (~258000 seconds) in inputs.conf that
you can configure. The app comes with 5 reports on the main vimeo dashboard.
If you search for the raw events from the Search bar,
(source=vimeo_channels), you can then show the extracted url field in the
event viewer and click on "Show Video" to get the video from from the link.
Similarly, if the video has a mobile url, then you can show the extracted
mobile_url field in the event viewer and click on "Show Mobile Video" to get
the Mobile Video from the link. These are called workflow actions in Splunk.
