I put the code from here in a function, performSearch(),

http://.../splunk-sdk-javascript/examples/browser/helloworld/index.html

and it throws this error at line 75.

"results is not defined"

We need more information to be able to help - can you post the code (the entire file)? How are you running it? etc

This problem was not solved, but I was able to approach it differently. - needed to move on with my development.
