Hey,

Is there a Splunk module or some alternative (easy) method of displaying the local time in the navigationHeader panel in Splunk web?

E.g If I am in London and I am looking at a Splunk instance installed on a New York server, I want to be able to see the current time in New York.

One Answer:

Not really. You have to create a custom module for that.

A future feature in Splunk 4.3 is expected to be the ability for each user to individualy specify the time zone in which they would like the data to be displayed, rather than be to just use whatever the search head is running in.

That would be useful. Having the option to display the local time where the search head is situated would also be very useful.
