How do you set up 3 or 4 buttons on the same single line and to be able to adjust the spacing or have two buttons one on the left side and the other on the right side? Splunk wants to put them all in a column.

One Answer:

I assume that rather than "button" you mean a "Single Value" element? Within the web ui, you should be able to click Action -> Edit dashboard, and just drag and drop the elements into the (grid-based) layout any way you'd like. They will be laid out appropriately within the dashboard.
