Refine your search:

In 4.1 the Indexing volume search showed 2 parts, the second part being the 'Licensed Daily Volume, past 7 days. Now it is just gone from 4.2. Where is it found now?

Agreed. Seems that they removed that component of the search for some reason.

One Answer:

the deployment monitoring app (which you can enable) includes a lot of info about indexing volume: http://www.splunk.com/base/Documentation/latest/Admin/Manageyourlicenses#View_license_usage

you can choose the timerange from the drop-down. there's other useful information depending on whether you defined multiple license pools, etc.

True, but I liked and often used the small text summary that was part of the display before without having to analyze and decide what and how to select in a form that doesn't offer the same option that I can tell.

Yeah, that was a much simpler method for checking the volume from day to day. Would be nice if that was added back instead of having to go into a separate app for that information.
